DESIGNED IN BELGIUM : the collections are imagined and designed in Belgium by Mélina, the designer. Mélina·A offers high-tech fabrics of quality, made in France and Italy.
The manufacture of technical clothing is currently entrusted to a Belgian company certified Fair Wear which has its tailoring workshop in Tunisia. The cotton pieces are supported by another Belgian company certified Fair Wear and Oeko-tex. These partners combine quality know-how and respect for human rights.Two inseparable values for Mélina·A

The designer
Self-taught, Mélina Accardo comes from the region of Liège. Tennis player and instructor for many years, she created the Mélina•A brand in 2016.
« Not finding any more outfits suited to my needs, I started creating. I wanted comfortable sportswear, made from quality fabrics with attention to detail (necklines, sleeves, pliers, borders, ...) »
My inspiration.
« I create the collections inspired by the city clothes, playing with small touches such as beautiful necklines, pretty pockets, marked belts, the brand logo integrated into the garment,...”
I give women's names to the pieces I create: the top Simona (Halep) tennis player, the skirt Gabrielle (Coco Chanel), the T-shirt Diane (Diane von Furstenberg), the top Sandra (Bullock). To me, they're inspiring, strong women. They remind me that it is never too late to undertake and that everyone can succeed in their field.
The logo? It's a nod to the base of a tennis racket handle, balancing it and setting it in motion. Balance is elegance, movement is sport.»
Where does my wish to create come from ?
« I love renewing myself constantly. It’s also a way of sharing, the idea of designing a piece, seeing the result and hoping that other women will have the same pleasure in wearing the garment as I had to create it. ».
